Hassane Ghalayini (Associate Training Partner)

Hassane is an Associate Training Partner with Cornerstone training solutions.  Hassane got his MBA from the Lebanese American University in 2000 majoring in Accounting and Finance.  He completed his Diploma in "Internal Audit" in 2002 with Saint Joseph University (USJ) and completed his Professional Diploma in Accounting & Auditing with The Arab Academy for Banking and Financial Sciences, in 2004.

Hassaneis equipped with a lot of hands-on experience in the fields of accounting and finance, as he works as financial controller at the North Africa Commercial Bank in Lebanon, responsible for both financial and managerial reporting; he also provides initial training for accounting functions at the bank.

Hassane is also a university Instructor at the Lebanese International University (LIU), providing accounting and auditing senior courses for both graduate and undergraduate levels. He is an expert in the design and delivery of the following courses: Accounting Theory, Advanced Financial Accounting, Advanced Auditing, Advanced Managerial Accounting, Taxation, IFRS and Accounting Systems and Control.

Hassane believes that university instructors are critical agents of change who continuously and consistently need to take the initiative to use new teaching and training techniques with a learner centered approach to make creative use of the technology, each time and everytime.

Hassane is a Certified Lender Business Banker and a Certified Internal Auditor.  He is a member of the IIA "The Institute of Internal Auditors in Lebanon" a member of IMA "The Institute of Managerial Accounting" and  a member of The Arab Academy for Banking & Financial Sciences.

Hassane was exposed to many international seminars including : Income Tax in Lebanon", "Financial Instruments", "Credit Analysis", "Operational Risks", "Bank Risks", "Basel II "For Islamic Banks", "How to become an Effective Leader", "International Accounting Standards - IAS", "Planning & Financial Control", "Decision Support Systems", "Third Arab E-Finance & Digital Economy Forum", Technology and the Banking Sector ( Promises, Pitfalls, and New Paradigms), Bank Managerial Accounting, Value Added Tax, E-Lebanon : Banking ,Payments and Financing MICT Conference, Internet  Based Marketing of Services.

Hassane enjoys a pleasant and friendly personality and brings to the training room very strong knowledge of the finance and accounting fields, coupled with academic, theoretical and practical experience of the Auditing world.  He believes in working with and through people and is a strong advocate of quality and team work.
