Kamal Mirza is an associate training partner with Cornerstone training solutions. He got his bachelor of business administration from the American University of Beirut and received his Master degree (with a 4.0 GPA) in business management from Lebanese American University. Kamal brings more than 20 years of experience in management consultancy and specialized training. His fields of specialty are financial management, business development, as well as training in several fields as organization development, project management, customer experience, leadership, negotiations, and persuasions skills. He holds a Master’s of Science in Management from the Lebanese American University and a BBA from the American University of Beirut.
In 1995, Kamal became the managing partner of Mirza-Awdeh & Co – a Lebanese consulting firm running since 1971 in MENA and UK regions specialized in corporate strategies, financial management, managerial operations, and professional training. He develops new businesses and restructures existing ones. He spent 5 years in the banking sector with National Bank of Kuwait and more than 9 years in the retail and wholesale industries.
He acted as a negotiating advisor to a number of corporate clients in the fields of banking, oil and gas, media and advertisement, telecommunication, real estate, logistics, retail/ Wholesale Trading, and governmental institutions…
In 2008, Kamal joined Scotwork- the largest independent specialist negotiation skills development company in the world. He was involved in training & consultancy services in Middle East and UK for five consecutive years achieving. As stated by Scotwork founder, “Kamal’s understanding of the Scotwork negotiating process is first class and his ability to combine this with his understanding of Arab and Islamic culture is a great asset to the business”. He is currently providing a combined practical and research-based approach for understanding and practicing negotiation.
He was a certified trainer by Grid International-USA. He provided top-down GRID training approach in leadership, culture change and team building.
He is keynote speaker in the fields of business development, conflict resolution and commercial negotiation. He is heavily involved in unusual negotiations and conflict resolution with the public and private sectors.
